been listening to the albums of Samurai Champloo, that stuff is way funky! bits of Lain and bits of GITS 2nd Gig. there are some very beautiful tracks on the Princess Mononoke OST when i want to chill and not hear any lyrics. oh and theres a couple of really funky tunes from Eureka 7 that i play constantly, that song called FLY, love the group that plays that one...

i've had several recurring dreams over the years, and each time near the end of the dream i would try to change the ending or do something different... love the ones where you get to fly away from people chasing after you, thats always fun :)

i dont play any games, coz i dont like being in front of a screen for long periods of time while the world is turning and happening outside. i do however collect a lot of gaming and sim wallpapers, so i am familiar with names and thats about it.

i was brought up in a Christian household, and have always believed in God since i was a child. i believed in Him for myself not for my family, though that became more apparent as i got older. however over time a lot of our ideas about church have changed and the way in which we live our lives has changed quite a bit as well. i dont go to church anymore but i still believe in God. My boyfriend doesnt believe in anything that doesnt exist and cant be scientifically proven, he's more of a science person. and somehow we co-exist. we dont make our beliefs such a big deal, weve made the deal that we would "agree to disagree"..

i watch anime all on DVD, though there has been the occasional series i watched on the computer coz they was avi files. i can occassionaly watch 4 episodes straight, but usually only 2 at a time.

i read manga wherever, whenever. nobody cares, people are more worried about their own little lives than what somebody's reading. most of the time i read it on the train on the way home from work so i dont have to see the same scenery again! or before going to sleep at night. i'm a high school temp teacher, and a lot of the students know i read manga and love anime, and a few of the kids have caught me at Borders bookshop and said "miss what are you doing here?" but they think its cool... well theyr there being little manga readers too hey?....

me is kiwi and i loooooovvve my kiwiland. i'm currently living in aussie, but New Zealand will always be home and that is where i find my identity, its where i grew up and i will always love it, even if it does get really cold in winter and is a small country, the people are friendly...yaaay peace out :)

i watch anime in english, but if theyre not available in enlish i will watch it in the original Japanese with the subtitles. i like the Japanese language, so you start to pick up a few words after awhile..

recognizing the feet of some anime is pretty good.... it could be considered nerdy but nerdy is more computery isnt it? or maybe its dorky. but you just know your stuff so thats good you're just very very observant. but hey they aint got nothing on nerds you guys are cool considering a number of my friends consider themselves to be that but we all loves you guys anyway.... man in the end who cares just be yourself and dont worry about it. peace bro!

it would have to be music - listening to it and playing it. i play piano and guitar and sing. and the other love would be art - drawing or using inks and watercolours, looking at artworks in the gallery and in books.
watching movies mainly comedy, action and thrillers.

right handed. i tried the lefty but it looked like a childs handwriting aged 5..hehehe. iv heard however that leftys are more intelligent. my mother is lefthanded so she defintely supports this theory, and she is rather intelligent. and thinking about it my younger sister is a lefty.

i started watching anime in english soooo i mainly watch in english, but i did watch a few ghibli movies and most of School Rumble and a few episodes of Girls Bravo in Japanese which i found to be more authentic. i dont mind both.

been playing piano since i was 10, so it now would be 16 years of piano and singing since i was 5. but the singing was because i use to go to church and well you sing when you go there and i use to sing the harmonies... started picking up the acoustic guitar about 5 years ago coz i had to teach yr7 and 8 how to play a few chords so i was kind of a few steps ahead. iv been making up songs on the guitar which sound a bit different to the ones i made up on piano. theyr a bit more truthful and aggressive. been finding some chords on the guitar which i call mystery chords coz i dont know what they are but they sound sweet.

yep iv lent out a lot my anime dvds but they were mainly to people that i trust that i knew would return them. my cousin always lends all his anime to me and my sisters because he doesnt see the point in not lending and sharing the goodness when he has spent all that money on collecting. to make it worth having it needs to be shared. but yeah i guess its probly coz were related and he trusts us. i still have to return the whole series of hack//sign and tenchi muyo to a friend. but he's not the kind who worries. coz he know that i'll look after them. gotta get 2nd series of Ghost In the Shell off him...thanks for the reminda!

if you cant sleep you could try writing a letter to someone or i would just read till your eyelids drop...sleep has taken over!

I've watched about the first 16 episodes of One Piece and thought that it was hilariously funny. Luffy is very childlike but at the same time has an authority that makes the others follow him whether they want to or not. the other crew members all have their own agenda for joining Luffy and end up staying helping him to fight the bad guys. the samurai guy has got some cool moves but if he fights too much ends up tired. him and Luffy both share the same big appetite for fighting and FOOD. absolutely love the show and now its on channel 10 at 7:30 in Australia.
